Our Daily Schedule
Primeros Pasos offers full day schedule options, both full and part time. Full time schedule is Monday through Friday. We offer two part time, full day options: Monday, Wednesday and Friday, OR Tuesday and Thursday.
Our Infants
Our infant classroom is open from 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
The core of our infant program is healthy attachment. Our caring teachers focus on building relationships and encouraging each child's strengths and development. They respect parent preference and follow each infant's individualized daily schedule.
Infants
Infants eat and sleep on demand or on their family’s requested schedule. Diapers are changed regularly throughout the day, at minimum every two hours or as needed. Our staff logs meals, nap times and duration, and diaper changes on a daily basis for parents’ information.
Infants enjoy daily classroom playtime, activities in our wonderful gross motor room, and fresh air time in our lovely yard.
Other infant activities include:
• Face-to-face interaction
• Toy gym
• Story and book time
• Gross motor development, such as tummy time, stretching, bicycle, crawling, rolling over, sitting or walking with support
• Finer motor development as infants develop, such as shape sorters, large puzzles, and block
